Bonnie Hirschhorn is a highly skilled therapist with over 35 years of experience. She has a master degree in Art Therapy and another in Clinical Social Work. She has completed a 10 year postgraduate program in Expressive Psychoanalysis as well as a three year postgraduate program in Couples Therapy. She is licensed as an Art Therapist, Psychoanalyst and Clinical Social Worker and she is certified as an Imago Relationship Therapist and Hypnotherapist.
Through her many years of experience, Bonnie has developed a unique way of integrating non-verbal therapeutic modalities such as art, movement, drama, guided meditation with verbal processing. She designs meditations and art / drama therapy directives specifically for you to suite your individual needs. She is the author of Conscious Eating Meditations, a series of guided meditations and art therapy directives on audio tape to connect with and heal one's relationship with food.
The guided meditations provide a deep listening place. The art therapy creates a visual reflection of ones feelings, needs, desires and provides a safe tool for exploration and resolution. The drama therapy tools, bring issues into action thereby allowing freedom from stagnation.
